The documentary has multiple threads – the migrant story of Joe’s family spanning from Malta to Melbourne, a history of the Australian music scene over the last 40 years via Joe’s two main bands Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons and The Black Sorrows, and a studio insight into the making of his latest triple album which is due for release in 2012.
