Our ReelHeART Live Reads feature Cast-to-Type Live Reads for the Top 3 Winners of our Short Screenplay Competition and the Top 3 Winners of our Feature Screenplay Competition.
What that mens is if the script calls for an 80 year-old Russian man, we try to cast a Russian actor that’s hopefully senior. Or a “stoner-type” is usually an actor that fits the part in voice, mannerism and appearance, or a sexy aging Sophia Loren type, is hopefully just that – – A smoking hot Italian actress. This year we have cast 50 actors across 174 Roles. Come on out and See how we do this Incredible Feat!
We do all Live Reads during the day from 11:30AM-1:30PM . We say arrive 15 minutes before.
